FREDERICK KWADWO YEBOAH
FOUNDER/EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – ONAM GH
Frederick Kwadwo Yeboah is a highly accomplished and dedicated individual who has made remarkable contributions in the field of nursing and humanitarianism. He is the founder of ONAM, a non-governmental organization that focuses on promoting healthcare services and providing aid to the underprivileged in Ghana and beyond.
Frederick is a Registered Nurse and he has received training in TCCC & TECC, ATLS ACLS BLS PALS, Humanitarian Law, and Infection Prevention Control. He has over 8 years of experience working with the Ghana Health Service (Cape coast Metropolitan Hospital and Kasoa Polyclinic, which is his current workplace, where he honed his skills in healthcare and developed a passion for helping others.
In September 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Frederick began his international work by joining AMI, UN/WHO, and later being recruited by Iqarus to work in Dubai for Emirates. He was part of the first Ghanaians to work at the United Nations COVID hospital and also Emirates COVID hospital in Accra and Dubai, respectively. Frederick has traveled extensively and has had the opportunity to meet and interact with people from various cultures.
One of Frederick’s significant achievements has been his ability to secure sponsorships for over 300 nurses and midwives to study in the United States and Canada. This accomplishment demonstrates his commitment to empowering healthcare professionals and improving healthcare systems in Ghana and beyond.
Aside from his professional achievements, Frederick has also shown a deep commitment to his community and country. He has helped the poor, needy, and incapacitated by providing aid, healthcare, and other essential services. Frederick’s ultimate aspiration is to give hope to humanity by promoting healthcare and providing aid to those in need. His dedication to this noble cause is truly inspiring and makes him a role model for many.
HARRIET ODURO
CO- FOUNDER/DEPUTY-DIRECTOR – ONAM GH
Harriet Oduro is a dedicated midwife with over 8 years of experience working with the Ghana Health Service. She is also the co-founder of ONAM, an organization that has been able to secure sponsorships for over 300 nurses and midwives to work in the USA and Canada.
Harriet is a trained Emergency Triage, ACLS, BLS, PALS, Humanitarian Law, and Infection Prevention Control specialist. Her passion for improving maternal and child health is evident in her work as one of the first midwives to work at the Mother and Child Hospital in Kasoa, Ghana. Prior to this, she worked at Kasoa Polyclinic and Cape Coast Metro Hospital.
In addition to her work in healthcare, Harriet has traveled extensively and has been exposed to a wide range of cultures. She has used her experiences to help the poor, needy, and incapacitated in her community and across the country. She is also passionate about encouraging adolescents to stop drug abuse and giving hope to humanity.
Harriet is married to Frederick Kwadwo Yeboah, who is the founder of ONAM. They have been married for 7 years and are blessed with 3 boys. Harriet’s pending contracts with the Botswana Health Ministry and recruitment agency in the USA are a testament to her dedication to improving healthcare in Africa and beyond. With her knowledge and experience, Harriet aspires to help women have safe deliveries and to make a positive impact on humanity.
